Pen & Mooring at Mounts Bay Sailing Club

One of the services Mounts Bay Sailing club offers to members is pen, mooring or hardstand vessel storage for permanent or casual rental. The Club’s marina has 62 pens and 9 moorings of varying size and 9 Hardstand Bays.

Boat storage applications may be subject to a waiting list and will be allocated according to availability. Boats moored at MBSC are also subject to safety inspection compliance, seaworthiness, maintenance and repair requirements.

A penalty of $200 per day will be applied to any boat penned or moored on the Club’s property without permission from the Pen Committee or its authorised delegate. Except with the express permission of the Club no Vessel or third-party vessel shall remain moored alongside any jetty unattended for any extended period.

Once these are all forwarded to the Office an invoice will be issued for the $1500 Pen Bond (which is fully refundable if the application is unsuccessful.) All applications then progress through the Pen Committee for assessment to best match the requirements of your boat. The Club will endeavour to provide a prompt response. Dinghy Storage (Lawn & Shed)

Members must not place dinghies in the sheds or lawn without prior approval. Registered Boats must show current MBSC registration & storage stickers
