2021 WINDSURFER CLASS ASSOCIATION WA – MIDWINTER REGATTA

Well done to the sailors who braved the elements at the first Windsurfer Class Association WA Midwinters Regatta held in Perth since 1983. With 23 registrations despite the ominous forecast 14-28 knot winds, grit and determination was certainly abundant in this resurgent class.

Congratulations to Jay Wild (176) who was crowned WA Windsurfer Class Midwinter Champion. Kevin Ussher 2nd & Lloyd Edmunds 3rd.

Thanks to our frost bitten volunteers Emily Jones, James Sparks, Mike Vernaski, Saskia McKay and also Floss for warming us up with with delights from the galley.

Australian Masters Games 2021 and Windsurfer Class World Titles 2022/23 here we come.

As we prepare to celebrate our 125th year this coming season, we remain committed to ensuring our facilities and infrastructure are up to scratch for continued success for our members and the wider community collectively. With our club emphasis of family and junior community participation, we have identified that our outdoor playground area requires upgrading.
