Schneider Cup – Closing Day

The Schneider Cup and Closing day was held on Saturday the 2nd of April with the MBSC classes battling it out for the victory. A very light breeze set a strong challenge to our sailors, however this did not put a dampener on the evening and the festivities as we celebrated the closing of our 2021/22 club sailing calendar!

Special thank you goes out to Norma Schneider who assisted Vice Commodore Larry Smith with presentations at the end of the day and to Peter Schneider who demonstrated how the new mobile bell is supposed to be operated!

The club would also like to recognise the incredible work done by our Bar and Events manager Max who will be moving onto his teaching career. We wish you all the best in your future endeavours and look forward to seeing you on the other side of the bar!

Presentation Night – Save the date!

As the season wraps up, we look forward to the presentations where we celebrate our members’ achievements throughout the year! Make sure to save the 6th of May in your calendar for this years prize night.

This Weekend – Interclub Championships!

This weekend on the 8th, 9th and 10th of April, Mounts Bay Sailing Club will be hosting the Interclub Championships! Make sure you come down to the bay this weekend to check out all the action from our prime viewing position with the sailing happening out in the front in Matilda Bay!

MBSC Bar will be open on all 3 days! 4:30pm on Friday, 12pm on Saturday and 12 Sunday!

Australian Master’s Games
Windsurfer Volunteers Wanted!

From the 23rd-30th of April this year, Mounts Bay Sailing Club will be hosting the Windsurfers for the Australian Master’s Games. So, we are now begining our search for volunteers to assist! If you’re available to help out down at the club – we would love to hear from you! Contact Commodore Davidson via commodore@mbsc.com.au for more information.
