With our Opening Day approaching, it is a reminder of the excitement of getting to use some new gear and possibly also a new boat after preparing it during the winter months. This pleasure can be seen in this photo on the face of Jack Cassidy, as he and his crew prepare one of his 16ft Skiffs at a MBSC Opening Day during the 1950’s. It is most likely a new Skiff, as he was well known for building a new Skiff during the winter with some improvements on the previous boat. |
