CLUB HEAT 5 Sponsored by YHB Group
A huge thanks to YHB Group for sponsoring this weeks racing.
Hot and sticky conditions a shore on Sunday and an unusual light North Westerly/Westerly breeze on the water made for some interested racing for the 5th Club Heat of the season.
It was good to see the Sharpies back on the water after their long journey to the Island and back. Racing saw the lead change several times congratulations to The Muppet Show, Out of Date and Don’t Poke the Bear.
For the first time in a long time, we had a 420 racing with the Tasar fleet and we welcome back Darryl Roberts and his daughter to MBSC.
The 420 was competitive with the fleet of Tasars, if only Darryl had been given the current course sheet, he may have taken out the race.
MOUNTS BAY SAILING CLUB A FRIDAY NIGHT FESTIVAL
FRIDAY THE 3rd of Feb 2023 the Club was a buzz of activity with Friday Night at the bay soaring to new heights.

80 meals were prepared and sold out with many envious patrons missing out.
We were joined by the sailors competing in the Warren Joens regatta and members of Royal Perth Yacht Club.
To continue the celebrations the Club was shining again on Saturday to celebrate members Paul White & Steph Davies milestone birthdays.
A great weekend showcasing MBSC to friends and family.
