Becoming a member at Mounts Bay Sailing Club is like becoming part of a family. Many of our members grew up sailing at Mounts Bay Sailing Club, and our friendly community welcomes newcomers with open arms.

Whether you’re a social member or a sailing enthusiast, there’s a place for you at the Mounts Bay Sailing Club. We always encourage our members to bring their family and friends along to the Clubhouse.

We offer a great family-friendly atmosphere, members’ bar and fantastic community events for all ages. Come on down to the Bay to sail, to SUP, to relax, to barbeque, to socialise, to party, to watch the sunset hit the City, and to be amazed that this breathtaking view is all yours to enjoy!

  1. Member can use the Club and all its facilities.
  2. Member can store a dinghy or other specified craft. (fees apply – see fees)
  3. Member can have a dinghy on the Club’s register.
  4. Member can sail in Club events.
  5. Member can have a fob for parking in the grounds (without extra fees, deposit applies)
  6. Member can rent a pen, mooring or hardstand bay.
  7. Member can sit on Club Committees, propose and second new members or candidates for election and vote.
  8. Have to be 18 years or over and not a full time student
  9. House support levy must be paid

  • Our weekly newsletter, Bulletin by the Bay is delivered right to your inbox every week and will give you a rundown of all the events, news and information about what’s on around the Club.
  • Bring your friends along for the ride! Members of MBSC can bring up to 4 guests along anytime to enjoy the benefits at the Club with them.
  • You’re invited! As a member of the Club you’ll receive invitations to a range of fantastic sailing and social member events throughout the year, all at great members prices!

With no regard for exclusivity or exclusion, we welcome new members all year round and love to share our passion for sailing at every opportunity. Social members, families and guests are always welcome to enjoy Perth’s most spectacular river views and our award-winning hospitality.

Our rules, regulations and fees are all quite minimal, offering great value for money and a casual, friendly environment. We offer affordable membership options for students, juniors and families.
